Austin, TX’s Kathy McCarty co-founded spiky art-rock quartet Glass Eye in the ‘80s and gave friend Daniel Johnston the tribute treatment in the ‘90s. Now she’s back on her own terms for a rare LA date in the Wild Honey Backyard on Sunday, August 28. She speaks with Myke Dodge Weiskopf ahead of the appearance.
